Our Process
Our straightforward and collaborative approach to design has been refined over the years so you are clear on the next steps and timelines. We typically follow the steps outlined below to ensure the entire process is a seamless and successful partnership.
1. Consultation
The first stage aids us in understanding your requirements and vision of the project. This initial consultation will allow us to talk through the next steps, so you know what to expect as we progress.
2. Concept
We will use what was discussed in the consultation stage and will develop some initial plans. These could take a few different forms dependent on the needs of the project, from hand drawn sketches to 3D visualisations of your home. These are delivered with a cost estimate.
3. Design
Once officially instructed, we refine our initial plans, implementing all the finer details in the project. From optimising layouts to beautiful finishes that accommodate your brief and budget, we’ll masterfully engineer the perfect product for you.
4. Produce
Upon final approval of the presented designs, we will proceed with making those visualisations a reality. We ensure all drawings from the previous stages are checked for design details and measurements before anything is produced.
All pieces are manufactured in our North London workshop by our team of masterful joiners and industry-leading specialists who strive to deliver excellence every time.
Our team will dry-fit in our workshop to ensure everything is perfected. Upon passing our rigorous quality checks the pieces are packaged for dispatch.
5. Install
Oliver Talbot’s expert installation team will be on hand to assemble and install all components seamlessly. All work is performed under the eye of the Project Lead who will certify the product delivery meets the standards of the company.
6. Handover
Our commitment to your project does not end at the installation stage. We will arrange a visit at a convenient time to suit you to inspect all work. This is our opportunity to explicate the principles of luxury and functional use of your bespoke pieces.
7. Aftercare
We are available for any aftercare support you may need. We will also supply a operations and maintenance manual and a visit by our dedicated aftercare team six months after installation.
